Bali Hotels Association was made aware of a situation in regard to the death of a visitor to Bali who was suspected of having COVID-19.

The Indonesian government has just announced that it has decided to ban tourists coming from some areas from Iran, Italy and South Korea from entering Indonesia from March 8th, 2020.   The Ban applies for transit passengers from these countries. 

We feel strongly that it is our combined obligation to focus on the facts and to act with common sense and sound judgement, taking the advice of the relevant authorities.
