First female chair elected to lead BHA in 2022.
Bali Hotels Association (BHA) members have today elected its first female chair Fransiska Handoko, CHA., CHIA., CHRM. General Manager of Ristata Bali Resort & Spa. Fransiska will succeed Jean Hélière, General Manager of Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach. Jean will leave Bali to take a new position in Doha. Vice Chair is Kevin Girard, General Manager of Conrad Bali.
The 17th G20 to be held in Bali in 2022
The 17th G20 Heads of State and Government Summit will take place at the end of the year 2022 in Bali. The Summit will be the pinnacle of the G20 process and intense work carried out within the Ministerial Meetings, Working Groups, and Engagement Groups throughout the year.

Quarantine Member Hotels in Bali
Bali has reopened to fully vaccinated travelers currently from a select number of countries, and government officials have released the names of hotels and resorts where the will need to quarantine for the first four nights of their stay. The current list of Bali Hotels Association Members approved to accept quarantine travellers when they arrive in Bali cover a wide selection of choices in Nusa Dua, Tanjung Benoa, Kuta and Ubud.
Bali's plans to re-open to International travellers & quarantine hotels.
When the announcement was made to allow International travellers to arrive in Bali from the 14th of October it was based on the fact that it was a good day on the Balinese calendar that was put forward by the officials in Bali and as long as all the requirements and readiness of the task force were in place. This included type of visas, quarantine, tests and airport transport. Bali was not expecting flights to land from that day.
Bali Sustainable Food Festival Sept 27 - Oct 16
Bali Hotels Association (BHA) is proud to announce the launch of the first BHA Sustainable Food Festival, running from September 27th until October 16th, 2021 in 30 participating member hotels. This festival allows participating members to showcase the innovative work they have been putting in during these times to shift to a more sustainable way of operating.
While programs such as single use plastic reduction are already well established, participating member hotels are preparing both a two-course lunch menu priced at maximum IDR 200.000 per person net, and a three-course dinner menu at maximum IDR 350.000 per person net.

Bali gradually moves down to Level 3
Indonesia has eased its COVID-19 restrictions for Bali, maritime and investment minister Luhut Panjaitan told a virtual conference on Monday.
The level of restrictions on the island and elsewhere in Indonesia will be evaluated on a weekly basis, he added.
Donor gives blood ONE HUNDRED times
I Wayan Budiarsa first donated blood 10 years ago and has become the first person in Bali Hotels Association's CSR Blood Drive program to reach that amount.
