The Indonesian government decided on Sunday  02 February 2020 to close borders to all travelers from China, after Sunday’s successful evacuation of most of its citizens from Wuhan, the epicenter of novel coronavirus outbreak in China’s Hubei province starting Wednesday 05 February 2020 at midnight.

Bali Hotels Association latest update on the situation in Bali related to the novel coronavius outbreak in China.

The WHO declared the novel coronavirus a public health emergency of international concern, as this would allow the WHO to better coordinate the international response and hold nations to account if they overstep the organization's standards -- which may pertain to travel, trade, quarantine or screening.

Bali's Vice Governor issues a statement for Bali on novel coronavirus. All BHA hotel members have been briefed about the virus as well as detection and prevention measures and to take any precautions to ensure guests have a memorable, pleasant and healthy holiday on the island of the Gods.

Bali Hotels Association scholarship recipient Novi is off to a flying start at Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata (STP) Bali . Novi began her studies on a full scholarship in July 2019 courtesy of Bali Hotels Association.
 

A recent survey of 157 member hotels in Bali reveled the reality that people are not cancelling their trips to Bali.
The Australian media claims that people were cancelling due to the reported draft of the “bonking bill” were unfounded. 

Once again Bali students held a peaceful rally to voice their concerns about the draft bill and other important issues they are passionate about.

SEPTEMBER 2019. BALI – INDONESIA. On September 21, 2019, 157 members and over 5000 participants of the Bali Hotels Association took part in the International Coastal Cleanup Day, a program initiated by a non-profit organization, Ocean Conservancy, 34 years ago. Now with more than 6 million volunteers in over 90 countries, involving the local community, schools, and businesses, the cleanup took place in 16 different regions in Bali.
