To anticipate and prevent the spread of the virus, Bali has taken the following steps:

1.  Coordinate  and  cooperate  with  the  Department  of  Health,  Denpasar  airport authorities and airlines to install a thermo scanner unit for early detection at the international terminal.

2.   Circulate an announcement to all government offices, hospitals and medical clinics urging awareness and vigilance regarding the virus

3.   Instruct all medical facilities to be on stand-by with equipment, personnel and quarantine for any suspected infection.

4.    To prevent further transmission, all tourist arrivals are expected to comply with a health check at the airport if requested.
