Volcanic Activity in Bali Indonesia - No changes reported

Bali Hotels Association 24 February 2019

The Center for Volcanology and Geological Disaster Mitigation (PVMBG)  also advised residents and tourists to steer clear of the danger zone. A ban on trekking Mt. Agung has been in place since 2017.

Many of the Islands hotels and resorts are a long way from this exclusion zone including the beautiful parts of East Bali such as Candi Dasa and Amed.

Many visitors continue to enjoy their holidays on the island of Bali and the International Airport and flights are not affected in any way.

We encourge visitors to be careful of reports online that are based on speculation or predictions and to ensure you check with your airline, hotel or creditable and official sources if you have any concerns.
