First female chair elected to lead BHA in 2022.
Bali Hotels Association (BHA) members have today elected its first female chair Fransiska Handoko, CHA., CHIA., CHRM. General Manager of Ristata Bali Resort & Spa. Fransiska will succeed Jean Hélière, General Manager of Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach. Jean will leave Bali to take a new position in Doha. Vice Chair is Kevin Girard, General Manager of Conrad Bali.

Marketing and Media Relations Director Simona Chimenti says "This is a critical time for the travel industry in Bali. There are still many challenges and evolving changes for 2022. This new board will focus on the BHA programs and bringing the sector together and continue to work as one solid team. Travel & Tourism needs to show not only its economic importance but also how it is committed to creating sustainable livelihoods, protecting nature and cultures."
