The Bali Provincial Tourism Office, Regencies and Cities in Bali officially opened an online registration for covid-19 vaccination for all local tourism workers.
Head of the Bali Tourism Office, I Putu Astawa, explained that the opening of the covid-19 vaccination registration for all tourism workers was carried out after receiving directives from the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga S Uno in several previous meetings.
We received direction from the Minister, Bali tourism must immediately step up. One of the reasons is that all workers must become a priority for vaccines. According to Astawa, after receiving these directions, his party held a meeting with all tourism stakeholders in Bali starting from associations, hotels, restaurants, GIPI, destinations and so on. In total, there are 48 stakeholders.
During the meeting, it was explained that tourism workers are one of the priority vaccines for Bali. After conducting the official meeting, Disparda Bali sent an official letter through 48 tourism stakeholders to forward it to its members and employees. The letter was signed by the Head of the Bali Provincial Tourism Office I Putu Astawa dated February 22, 2021.
"We are only carrying out the ministry's directions. Regarding how to get vaccines, the Minister promised to lobby at the center so that Bali tourism workers also get priority vaccines to maintain world confidence so they can come to Bali," he said.

Registration must be complete according to the application that has been prepared. Data must be by name by address, by NIK and include the company or place of work concerned. All tourism workers are entitled to get the Covid19 vaccine without exception, from Top Managers to gardeners or cleaning services.
The question of the number is not limited. If the first phase is not covered, the second batch will be opened. Because the vaccine will be carried out in two stages. Whatever the quota is, we will report it to the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy," he explained.
Bali Hotels Association fully supports the need to get as many people in the tourism industry vaccinated. A campaign was undertaken to get employees vaccinated through this program.
