Bali Hotel Association supports travel corridor

Bali Hotels Association 30 January 2021

Based on the interview released by the Indonesian Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno which appeared in various media this week, Bali Hotel Association strongly supports the idea of a Covid-free travel corridor allowing access to Bali for tourists showing proof of Covid 19 vaccination and following a rapid antigen test taken on arrival.

BHA Chairman Mr Jean Heliere says, "This would allow to give a start to Bali tourism-related companies, based on strict health protocols. We understand this would be a gradual process, but it would represent a positive sign to all tourism stakeholders.
Bali hotels employees are particularly suffering from this prolonged situation and would be positively affected by a gradual opening."

Bali Hotels Association is a professional group of star-rated hotels and resorts in Bali. Members include General Managers from 157 hotels and resorts in Bali that represent more than 27,148 hotel rooms and almost 35,849 employees in the tourism sector.
Bali Is My Life

"Bali is my life" is a powerful statement that reflects the fact that Bali is not just like any tourist destination but a beautiful island that is owned and lived by the Balinese who welcome visitors to enjoy the island. As a statement it is emotional, honest and true, it invites the world to discover why Bali is so special. In this campaign, we are proud to present Bali not through its beauty, or its tourism industry but through the one consistent backbone of the island; its people.
