The Bali Hotel Association, together with Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata (STP) Bali, has selected the candidate who will receive BHA Hospitality Scholarship for 2019. .
This programme has been running quite successfully for many years. The scholarship this year was nominated from BHA member hotels staff children and siblings, who would not normally be able to afford to attend STP..
There were four stages in the selection process, involving numerous interviews and tests. The final interview was with a panel consisting of BHA General Managers and the BHA Human Resources Managers whereby the final candidate was chosen for the scholarship for the course of their choice at STP Bali.
Novi demonstrated strong characteristics which proved their passion for a career in the tourism industry. There is no doubt that one day she will be able to play a significant role in Bali’s tourism.
Novi will be assigned a hotel General Manager as her “mentor” to assist through her years at college. After each year, she will be re-assessed following STP’s standard assessment process and should they be successful they will automatically be awarded another scholarship for each consecutive year until they have finished college.
